The baptism of Jesus marked the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry, and it represented an initiation into his calling. Jesus wanted a symbolic, vivid and external way to show what was happening to him internally, to make known how God was going to manifest in a new way in the world. This Sunday, we will explore the meaning of this sacred ritual, and you are invited to renew your own baptism, a baptism into the Way, the Truth, the Life of Jesus.
