Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for you are my servant; I formed you, you are my servant;
O Israel, do not forget me. I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you. — Isaiah 44: 21-22

Everyone loves a redemption story. We see the theme of redemption in literature, film, songs, and TV shows. Every story, at its center, has a character who has made a mistake or perhaps has a tragedy in his or her past, and now the individual is trying to find meaning and restoration. It could be said the entire Biblical narrative is about redemption. This Sunday, we explore how redemption is always happening and what it might look like in one’s own life.
