O God, your child Jesus taught us to welcome each other, but welcome is so often absent in this world. To truly welcome each other means to see your holy Presence in each other. God, help us to commit to affirm all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people, and other identities, welcoming them and affirming them as your beloved creations. We know that until we are all free, none of us can be free, and in your Name we commit to co-creating that world of welcome and affirmation until all people can access that promise. Amen.
