In the story of the resurrection, Christ brings us the proclamation that there is a constructive, positive, redemptive, healing dynamic that dwells within us and all around us. Of course, if we look around at the world, it seems almost absurd to make such a statement. There is so much suffering, destruction, and disorder. The way of God, however, is not the way of human beings. Easter reminds us that God is never at rest and can transform even the darkest, emptiest, deadest, aspects of our life and world. God calls us to participate in this proclamation!
